I booked the Champagne & Food tour in Paris for my husband and I in early November. We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour with Raphael. The tour started by walking through the beautiful Saint-Germain-des-Pres and learning about the rich history of the area. We made a few stops to gather food for our final tasting and a quick stop to taste champagne at a local bistro. Raphael was an excellent guide and so passionate and knowledgeable about the local area and champagne. He chose excellent champagnes which paired perfectly with the cheeses and sweets. We were quite full by the end of the tour! Overall the tour was an excellent value – we learned so much and sampled quite a bit of food and champagne. Many thanks to Raphael!
The tour was absolutely phenomenal! For our group is was certainly a highlight of the trip. The story telling/history share was clear and informative, and fun to hear someone’s one personal side of Paris thrown in. I would highly recommend this experience. (Some of the places we went, my group went back to the very next day!)

We met our guide Raphael and immediately felt we were with a dear friend. His knowledge is so impressive and his patience for questions was without limits! Although we have visited Paris numerous times we learned more in this meeting. His knowledge of the area and the history surrounding it made this adventure even more fun. Then as we learned about the different champagnes and how to pair them ! Even a casual champagne lover will learn and enjoy.
